Lung cancer statistics indicate that previous smokers have a nine times higher probability to die from lung cancer as do those who have never smoked before. What’s more, it is believed that people who still smoke while suffering from lung cancer are twenty-three times more prone to die from the disease than a smoker who has quit.

There is an alarming link between lung cancer deaths and smoking, as often shown up in lung cancer statistics. If you do not wish to die from lung cancer, then the message is simple – STOP SMOKING!  After all, prevention is better than cure!
