Always have with you other stuff to put in your mouth, like a toothpick, or candy (watch for those cavities), or, often the best, bubble-gum.
Initially you may feel sleepier and more beat than normal. Also you will be more short-tempered. These things pass in a week or so. Talk about what you do. Many smokers wish to know how it's actually possible. Explain to them; discuss it over a drink, in the non smokers section, of course. If initially you fail, try again. Don't fret, there are less folk then you believe who made it the 1st time. If nothing works, visit your physician.
